It’s nice to meet you
I began my career serving individuals with developmental disabilities. It was in that journey that I discovered my passion for the mental health field. Through both life and work experiences, I have learned the importance of human connection, empowerment, and healing. I received my undergraduate degree at UNC Charlotte. Afterward, I got my Master’s in Social Work, with a clinical focus on children and families at the University of Southern California.
I have experience working with children and adolescents in both residential and community settings. I also had the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing homelessness, at-risk youth, and inter-community management. These various experiences have shaped my clinical perspective and highlighted the importance of both the family system and the individual. I have specialized training in problem-solving therapy and motivational interviewing. I have worked with crisis management, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and family dynamics.
I believe in a holistic approach, addressing the needs of my clients to support their overall development. I enjoy reading, aerial silks, dogs, and learning new skills. My goal is to help my clients reach their highest potential and assist families in living more harmonious and happier lives together. I look forward to working with you soon.
