The length of time you'll spend in therapy varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people may see progress in just a few sessions, while others might benefit from a longer-term approach. During your initial sessions, your therapist will work with you to create a plan tailored to your specific needs and will regularly review your progress to adjust the plan as necessary. Your commitment and engagement are key factors in determining the duration of therapy.

This approach allows each person to address personal issues and growth areas, which can significantly enhance the effectiveness of couples therapy and contribute to a more supportive and understanding relationship.

If your loved one is under the age of 18 and you are their legal guardian, you can definitely sign them up for therapy.
If your loved one is an adult who is giving you permission to complete the administrative tasks, then you can definitely get the person signed up.
If your loved one is an adult who has NOT given you permission to schedule them for therapy, you can NOT and should NOT sign them up. We know the benefits of therapy and wished everyone were ready to engage with the process, but there's a reality that some folks are just not ready. We encourage you to engage in therapy yourself to understand the impact this is having on you and learn skills to support your loved one.

We currently do not accept Medicaid or Medicare, though we understand that many in our community rely on these services. We are actively considering the pros and cons of accepting government funding and will be honest and transparent about our final decision and the reasons behind it.

Our office is located at 10130 Perimeter Parkway, Suite 200, in Charlotte. The building is spacious with ample parking. When you enter through the double doors, take the elevator to the 2nd floor. You'll find glass double doors—walk through them, and check in with the front desk by providing your therapist's name. They’ll alert your therapist, who will come out to meet you.
