Hey there,

I’m so grateful you are here.

I know life’s challenges can be overwhelming and seem everlasting. You may be exhausted, frustrated, and hurt, doing your best to keep going. But sometimes, no matter how many steps you take, you might feel like you are in the same place—stuck and without hope for the future.

Whether you are dealing with past wounds, ongoing stressors, or societal oppression, I’m here to help. My mission is to foster a warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental space that honors your whole self and unique story.

I strongly believe in the power behind the client-therapist relationship and how it can plant the seeds for sustainable well-being. I aspire to make therapy available and safe for all human beings, especially through providing BIPOC therapists to the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals.

When I’m not supporting people in sessions, I love to spend time with my family traveling and enjoying summer vibes.  I also like my share of diverse music, cooking shows, and trash tv (who doesn’t?!).

I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at South Carolina State University (let’s go Bulldogs!). Then I earned a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of South Carolina (Gamecocks!). I worked in the nonprofit sector for over ten years, helping families and children impacted by sexual abuse and domestic violence. I have also traveled to Africa and Puerto Rico to work with underserved communities.

I mainly work with adults who have experienced trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to abuse, racism, and discrimination.

My treatment specialties also include anxiety, depression, women’s issues, and LGBTQIA+ issues.

You deserve joy, serenity, and purpose. Let’s embrace the uncomfortable and find the tools you need for a rewarding life.

I look forward to hearing from you.
